Model background
Build a grand premiere at the Palace Cinema!
It’s premiere night at the Palace Cinema! Illuminate the night sky with the spotlights as the child star arrives in a fancy black limousine! Gather the crowd on the star-studded sidewalk, then head into the detailed lobby with a concession stand and ticket area! Take the grand staircase into the theater with a large screen, movie projector and reclining chairs for 6 minifigures.
Introducing the latest addition to the LEGO® Modular Buildings series, the highly detailed, 2-story Palace Cinema corner building. This collectible model features a sidewalk of the stars, brick-built entrance doors, posters, sign frontage, a tower with spires and rooftop decorations. Includes 6 minifigures: child actress, chauffeur, female guest, male guest, photographer and cinema worker.
Model Box
As it is usual with all the expensive LEGO sets this Palace Cinema comes in a huge box. This is the front view
And this is the back view that highlight some of the most interesting parts.
Here you have an unboxing video, so you can get an idea of what it is inside the box.
Manuals
Like all the LEGO Creator experts sets it is not how many manuals it has, but how detailed each step is.
This set comes with three manuals and a good five or six hours of non-stop building.
Building experience
This is a very interesting set to build. Most of the exciting action happens on the bottom floor and the root. I enjoyed the roog and the little details of the bottom floor.
It isn’t hard to build but it is a bit boring while builing layer after layer of walls. The second floor is the one i enjoyed less building it.

Complete model
So here is the complete model.
Let’s see each detail because some of them are really lovely.
This is the main door with some of the minifigs and the huge lights that illuminate the building.
And everything is ready for VIPs to come. Photograph included.
The limousine looks classy. And pretty much does the work.
This is one corner of the main floor where the popcorn shop is located.
And don’t miss the details of the main door to enter the Palace Cinema.
As well as the posters advertising new movies to come. The films’ titles are simply hilarious.
The sign frontage is a pleasure to build and one of the things that makes this model so interesting and personal.
You can see the side of the Palace sign frontage. I really love the way of using LEGO parts to actually write text. And of course, don’t miss the roof.
This is the roof that has a trapdoor to access to it from the second floor.
And this is the the cinema itself.
These are the minifigs that come with the Palace Cinema set.
